Hall was born on July 31, 1984 in Spanish, Jamaica. But at age 13, he moved to Queens, New York. There is not much information about his family, but he has mentioned his mother several times. He also posted three pictures with her on Instagram on her birthday, writing, “She’s not only responsible for me being here but she instilled the drive force of remaining true to myself. Always reminding myself that even if I can’t see him, God has a plan.”

Moreover, he called her his “greatest fan,” praised her, and expressed his love for her. Hall’s journey from Jamaica to the United States was arduous. He endured severe abuse, had no friends and lived in a completely different culture. She was constantly bullied by the children at her school. One day, a bully began calling Hall “disgusting” and harassing her as she rode the bus home from school. “He (the bully) literally knocked the living daylights out of me,” Hall said, even though he didn’t respond.

The bully beat Hall so badly that another bully had to intervene to stop him from doing his heinous act. He was kept in a room for the rest of the day and the incident terrified him. His mother took him to a doctor, and he eventually enrolled in a martial arts camp. The shock was so intense that he even considered suicide. Thankfully, though, war helped him regain his confidence.

Make a Name for Yourself in Fighting Games

Hall first competed in MMA in 2005. Luckily, he found her through a UFC show, which helped launch her career. ‘Prime time’ was a nightmare for competitors in the system. He immediately came to the fore after failing with a spinning hook kick from Adam Sela. In the UFC, he faced top fighters like Anderson Silva and Sean Strickland.

Adjusting to Wrestling

After leaving the UFC, Hall turned to boxing. He made his debut in boxing in 2022 against Le’Veon Bell. This weekend, he steps into the ring for his second professional boxing fight against former middleweight boxing champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. While he has little boxing experience, Hall’s background in MMA and kickboxing gives him a unique edge.
