In the year 2018, it looked like a mere day dream that Giga Chikadze can dictate the UFC. The opponent he met on Contender Series was Austin Springer. It seemed as if Chikadze was dominating the fight or was at least in a better position nine out of ten times. However, in the last seconds that no one expected it, by chokes Chikadze to rear naked choke and laid a beating finish on him, looking as if that cut short Springer of his ride in UFC.
Still I must admit that it is good that Chikadze joined the conflict. He was the master of that Party, showing his faculties and management skills in the event. However, this defeat was rather detrimental to his chances of signing a UFC contract at the said times, as was the case with M. M. A. Chikadze.
Bouncing the Page
Despite that, Chikadze came back to the Gladiator Challenge and won the consecutive bouts there. Although, Springer lost he impressed the UFC and they took him in. He competitioned in the Ultimate Fighter 27 in 2017 where he lost in the finals to Brian Kelleher but was later gifted a place in the UFC where he made his debut in 2019 against Brandon Davis. Chikadze managed to win this fight by split decision even if the fight was a very close one and this victory started his UFC career.

That is why it is worth noting that Chikadze insists on his high intellect and ability to quickly recover from a defeat. He didn’t get stuck with the label ‘loser’. But he took his time to rehearse so as to improve on his performance and procedures. He framed up victory against Davis to show maturity in fighting and indeed laid down a good fight in the UFC.
Streak and Key Course Loss
This was the first fight of Chikadze and after this fight, he gave quite a remarkable performance and won the next six fights of his career. This streak consisted of many fights including a win and a place in the main event against Calvin Katter in 2021. The match was very close, Chikadze knocked out Katter in the first round but Katter’s manner of combat went down together with its aggressive pressure has become the tides of We Are. Katter triumphed in the fight by unanimous decision the all three judges saw the fight in favor of Katter with 50-45.
The war was central to Chikadze’s career. Despite the loss, he showed he could compete at the highest level, earning him the respect of his fans and fellow fighters. The fight was a ‘night fight’ affair, emphasizing the superior skill and tenacity of both fighters. Chikadze’s performance even in defeat is a testament to his ability and strength.
First Job and First Loss
In 2015, Chikadze took against Gil Guardado in his debut professional mixed martial arts battle at WSOF 26. Chikadze tried desperately, but a unanimous vote proved too much for him. This setback didn’t stop him, though. With five straight first-round knockouts after his comeback, he demonstrated his remarkable work and earned another opportunity to compete in the major leagues.
Chikadze still has a lot left in his UFC career. The ultimate goal for him is to win the UFC Championship. He is a strong competitor in the featherweight class thanks to his talent and tenacity. Because they know that with every fight, Chikadze gets closer to realizing his ambition, fans eagerly anticipate his next bout.
