UFC 231 is an exciting fight between Max Holloway and Brian Ortega in the main event on December 8, 2018. The defending champion Holloway faced  the undefeated Ortega and entered the Octagon. hungry for a shot at the desired title. However, what happened in prison was a brutal display of power by Holloway who bruised and punished Ortega.

 Holloway knocked out Ortega from the opening shot, setting a UFC record with  570 strikes, 490 of them significant. Despite the attack, Ortega showed great strength and refused to give in to an unprovoked attack. However, by the end of the fight, Ortega’s face was covered with battle scars and he was clearly victorious in a difficult fight.

Ortega displayed a broken thumb and a broken nose on social media following the accident, revealing the full extent of his injuries. Ortega’s indomitable spirit is evident despite his evident physical decline, as he professes his readiness to give up his life in the pursuit of triumph and indicates his willingness to bear agony. However, the intervention of the referee Yves Lavin saved Ortega from the penalty and ended the relentless attack.

Phoenix Rising: Ortega returns to the Octagon with a win 

Despite the  defeat and serious injury, Ortega’s fighting spirit never wavered. After almost two years on the sidelines, he returned to the Octagon with a win over Zheng Cansheng, proving that he is still strong in featherweight competition. Now that Ortega sees Alexander Volkanovski as a potential redeemer, his fortitude and tenacity are evident. 

A legendary bout between two formidable fighters, Max Holloway and Brian Ortega, took place at UFC 231. Famed in the Octagon for his incredible strength and unwavering resolve, Holloway is a well-known fighter. With no prior fights under his belt, Ortega is eager to break through Holloway’s domination and take the Heavyweight title for himself. It was evident that Holloway was establishing his authority right away by attacking Ortega nonstop from the first bell. Ortega shown an unwavering attitude and unwavering tenacity by refusing to give up even after being defeated by his opponents. 

 

Ortega revealed the extent of his injury on social media, revealing  a broken nose and  broken thumb during the fight. Despite the intense physical impact, Ortega’s fighting spirit did not fade and he said he was willing to endure the pain in pursuit of victory. After UFC 231, Ortega began to recover and recover, determined to overcome the problems he  faced in the Octagon. After almost two years out of competition, he returned to fight Jung Cansung, showing that he is still strong in  featherweight competition. 

With his attention now directed toward a rematch with Alexander Volkanovski and the opportunity to win back the title he lost, Ortega’s resilience and fortitude serve as a tribute to the human spirit. As Ortega’s recovery progressed, he emerged as a model of tenacity in the face of difficulty, motivating supporters and fellow troops with his unwavering will to meet challenges head-on.
