Max Holloway thrilled the MMA space by winning the BMF belt with a last second knockout of Justin Gaethje. Although coming off a victory at UFC 300, Holloway is predicted to fight Ilia Topuria at UFC 306 on the Mexican Independence Day on September 14th. This event is expected to have the fans on the edge of their seats especially those still having the festive feeling. Everybody is waiting for the official announcement as fight fanatics get more excited with the rumors. Holloway’s dynamism and the preceding performance statement have put the arena into a frenzy for a match that may go down in history.
Anticipation and Excitement Build
Despite the fact that the fight has not been announced officially yes, the buzz can be felt. It is a great expectation that fans and fighters are looking forward to. Former BMF champion Justin Gaethje has already put Ilia Topuria on notice in regards to what he is going to do to him. As expected, Kenny ‘Ken Flo’ Florian interviewed Gaethje on the Anik and Florian Podcast recently where the life of the fight, the fight with Holloway and, of course, reflections could be gleaned. It is a crucial detail for Topuria’s experience and observations of Gaethje which prove that challenging task and abating the desire to wait for the potential bout between them only increases the interest and anticipation.

In a co-main event of UFC 300, Holloway outclassed Gaethje by the start of which he already had a broken nose. I actually have Gaethje speaking on the Anik and Florian Podcast suggested that he is glad for his training as he explained that it enabled him to stand up in the first round with an injury.
‘’He did such a marvelous job,’’ Gaethje said of Holloway. ‘He was perfect and perfect that night’, named ‘Max Holloway very hard to beat’ Nonetheless, the verbalization left Gaethje remorseful. He stated that he would have leaned forward and battled in a different manner, since Holloway’s assault was somewhat erratic and quick.
Topuria Faces a Formidable Opponent
While the mixed martial arts community is buzzing about the Holloway-Topuria match, Topuria himself doesn’t seem too impressed. Many, including UFC veteran Henry Cejudo, believe Holloway will come out on top. On his talk show ‘Pounds 4 Pounds’, Cejudo predicted Holloway’s success, citing his relentless and unique chest compressions as key advantages.
“If a guy like Ilia Topuria can’t stop a guy like Max Holloway who has the stamina, the gas tank, and now he’s knocking people down for no reason, Ilia Topuria could be in trouble,” Cejudo said.
Can Holloway win Topuria?
The UFC Noche leaks have only fueled speculation, sparking heated discussions among fans and crews frantically assessing the outcome. Known as ‘Blessed’, Holloway is a well-rounded fighter who is able to outlast and outlast his opponents due to his unique heart and relentless pressure while Topuria, known as ‘El Matador’, faces a great challenge at in this matchup. The combination of Holloway’s skill, strength and recent knockout ability make him a formidable opponent, raising questions about whether Topuria can rise to the occasion and earn a win against such a strong opponent.
