While Johnson’s revelations shed light on how much boxers earn in the sport, Allen said not all boxers earn the same amount of money. Allen said video game compensation varies, with famous boxers like Johnson earning more  and more than lesser known athletes.

Payroll: A Popular Issue

Allen said that the number of payments depends  on the popularity of the boxer among the players. The boxers that the players choose to fight will earn the boxers more money, while other boxers will receive  less checks. Allen himself admitted that he gets paid every three to four months, reflecting the disparity in income among boxers in the sport.

Electronic Arts Features Fan Favorites

Which UFC fighters players would prefer to face off against has been explored by video game maker Electronic Arts. It should come as no surprise that Conor McGregor is currently ranked #1 in the male boxing ranks given his appealing appearance and strong fighting style. Moreover, Valentina Shevchenko solidified her dominance in the women’s division during this time by earning the UFC women’s champion title.

Bottom Line: Differences in Video Game Currencies

While Johnson’s revelations highlight the potential for additional revenue from video game shows, Allen’s view highlights the disparity in income among UFC fans. As the debate over  compensation continues,  revelations about video game spending add to the complexity of  the discussion.

British UFC fighter Arnold Allen offers his opinions on the subject as rumors about Demetrious Johnson purchasing a video game go on in the MMA community. Johnson recently disclosed on YouTube that he received a substantial payment from Electronic Arts (EA) in exchange for appearing in the UFC video game franchise. Johnson argues that the recognition which are between $25,000 and $10,000, suggest that professional fighters ought to be able to make a greater profit.

However, Allen took Johnson’s comments seriously, saying that not all fighters benefit equally from joining a video game franchise. While well-known boxers like Johnson can earn huge salaries, lesser-known athletes may not enjoy the same level of financial rewards. Allen himself admitted that he received a payment from EA  every three to four months, which shows the difference in income between fans of the game.

According to data released by Electronic Arts, Conor McGregor and Valentina Shevchenko are the most popular combatants among athletes in both genders. Given that he is one of the UFC’s most formidable fighters, it should come as no surprise that athletes like McGregor. Athletes also love Shevchenko because of her supremacy in the women’s category.

As the controversy over fighter pay continues to grow, Johnson’s revelations about his video game earnings  sparked discussion of the pay gap in  the world of mixed martial arts. While participation in video games may provide additional income for some boxers, Allen’s comments point to the need for greater transparency and fairness in boxers’ pay. As the MMA community monitors these developments, the debate over fighter salaries will continue in the coming months.
