UFC President Dana White has taken a firm stand to clear up the rumors swirling around Jon Jones and his future opponents. White firmly believes that a feud between Jones and Tom Aspinall is not just a possibility but a certainty. According to White, the UFC’s current plans include a future fight between these two heavyweights, and he is confident it will happen when Jones defends his title against Stipe Miocic.
Ngannau explained the matter
The main topic under discussion is why the long awaited fight between John Jones and Francis Nganno never happened. White quickly cleared up any confusion, stressing that Jones was always eager to meet Nganno. “There’s been a lot of talk about why Francis Nganno didn’t stand up to Jon Jones,” White said. “Let me be clear: it’s not because Jon Jones didn’t want that. Jon loved that fight. He was ready to fight Ngannou and had the same level of confidence he showed against Cyril Gane. The fight didn’t go wrong not because of Jones’ reluctance but because of other circumstances.”

Miocic Fight Jones Future
Jones’ focus now is on defending his UFC heavyweight title, scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden in November This has attracted public criticism, with some fans questioning Jones’ priorities and expressing disappointment in his choice of what of the fight against him. But White remains confident that Jones is determined to compete against top competition. “Despite the criticism, Jon Jones is absolutely determined to defend his title against Miocic,” White insisted. “There is no doubt in my mind that Jones will fight Tom Aspinall when he contacts Miocic. Public prejudice will not stop us from fighting this war.”
Ngannou’s UFC Exit and Public Opinion
White also addressed the controversy surrounding Nganno’s exit from the UFC. Nganno’s home was marked by a series of disagreements with the organization, including accusations of disrespect and inconsistent differences. White denied claims that the UFC intentionally excluded Ngannou from the promotional materials. “Ngannou was told to drop any information,” White said. “If that was something we did, I would own it. But as far as I know, I have no information about it. It doesn’t control any aspect of our promotions.”
Aspinall Challenge and the Jones Estate
Despite Jones’ current focus on Miocic, White believes a future fight with Aspinall is in the works. “Jon Jones is in his element, doing what he does best,” White said. “Once he finishes with Miocic, there’s no reason to believe that he won’t fight Espinal. We are determined to fight the biggest and most exciting battle, and this is no exception.”
White’s determination to fight the great battle
White assured fans that the UFC is dedicated to putting together the toughest matchup possible. He overshadowed the organization that delivered big fights from Brock Lesnar to other big names. “We’ve always fought great battles, and Jon Jones vs. I’ve had great fights. Tom Aspinall will be no different,” White promised. “We will do everything we can to make this fight productive. Our goal is to provide the best matchup for the fans, and we will make sure this happens.”
